King Prawn and Salmon Pasta Bake

Pasta Bake with Prawns and Salmon

King Prawn & Salmon Pasta Bake..

This dish only takes about 30 minutes in total to cook – just depending on how many portions you need!

I used a tomato & herb pasta bake. Its a nice tasty sauce and the entire jar has 200 calories. This is going to yield 8 servings.

Cook the pasta as you normally would. For instance, in lightly salted boiling water. Then drain and add the sauce.

I stir fried the king prawns using quite a bit of garlic – it’s all about personal taste and oodles of flavour! Plus lots of ground black pepper, adds a nice kick also. I steamed 3 fillets of salmon. To that, I added a frozen bag of mixed beans – green and red.

Layer the prawns, salmon and vegetables on the bottom of an oven proof dish. Spoon the pasta on top. Then grate cheese over it. I keep one end free of cheese for myself! Everyone else in the family loves cheese.

Into a hot oven and allow to brown. There’s really no cooking in the oven as it has already been done, so you can now relax.. Unless you cooked it earlier in the day and then putting it in to the oven for dinner, in that case, you will want it to heat through!

Enjoy!
